Papaya & Mango Chia pudding

Hello everybody! This week I have prepared Papaya & Mango chia pudding.

This recipe is delicious, refreshing and super healthy.

Here you have some benefits of chia seeds.

 

Chia Seeds:

Chia seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acid. They also are an excellent source of fiber at 10 grams per ounce (about 2 tablespoons), and contain protein and minerals including iron, calcium, magnesium and zinc. 

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS

 

 

Chia pudding:

  • 3 tbsp. chia seeds

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 2 tbsp. agave/maple syrup/honey (pick the one of your preference)

  • pinch of ginger

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Papaya & Mango mousse:

  • 1/2 cup ripe mango

  • 1 cup ripe papaya

  • 1 tbsp. water (to help the blender run)

  • fresh mint leaves for presentation

 

 

 

 

 

 

DIRECTIONS

 

1. Mix together chia seeds, milk, agave, and ginger (ginger is super strong so be careful       to add too much of it). Stir until chia seeds start to form gel like texture. Set into the         fridge 

2. In a blender, mix together papaya and mango add water to help the blender run.

3. Use a tall glass or jar, fill it up with the papaya mousse and chia gel. Serve chilled.
